Houston, TX local singer/songwriter has released his debut five-song Extended Play (EP) "Where To Begin", February 1. 2018. The EP release includes other local/national artists such as "Mighty Orq" on Resonator, "Tyson Sheth" on drums and "Maxine Kuo" on Violin, plus several other featured musicians.
"I wanted to start with just five songs... In high school I recorded in a garage studio, (Burning House of Jam), but I'd never recorded in a studio this professional before. Shit honestly, I wasn't sure if I'd like it, or not... as it turned out, I had a great experience and felt really comfortable with all of it." says Milby
The EP was recorded and mastered at Sugar Hill Recording Studios in Houston, TX 2017 and engineered by Jeremy Rojas. The EP has a variety of songs, from country to rock with punchy lyrics and Milby's style is epigrammatic. The EP leaves you with the feeling that there's certainly more to come down the road.
FAR BE IT ME
As of lately, Milby mostly plays in dives around his home town of Houston, TX. Expect him to branch out of his comfort zone now that his debut EP "Where To Begin" has released. He'd probably stick with the SEC given his college roots from Ole Miss where he played in two unpublished bands, "Parliamentary Procedure" and "Milbotto".
